Fundamental Macintosh Basics
Hands-on Introductory Course.
Focuses on fundamental Macintosh basics. The course is designed to
introduce the most basic and critical elements for the novice/beginner
Macintosh computer user. Areas covered will include a brief discussion
on the basic elements of the computer, how to hook up your Mac, a
thorough understanding of the desktop and your everyday working
environment (menus, icons, windows, trash), and using Mac software.
Class cost $89, plus $10 material fee paid in class

Intermediate Macintosh Operations
Hands-on Intermediate Course.
Brief review of fundamental Macintosh basics. The course is designed to
cover the more intermediate levels of the Macintosh operating system,
customizing your Mac & basic guidelines for troubleshooting &
maintaining your Mac.

Making iMovies: Shooting and Editing Digital Video
iMovie and the digital video format gives aspiring filmmakers
everything they need to shoot, capture, edit, and create digital
movies. It's simply the easiest way to make movies. In this class,
students create a group video project from start to finish. In the
morning students learn digital video shooting techniques and then shoot
a group video project. In the afternoon, the class will learn how to
edit by completing the group project using Apple's iMovie software.
Using iMovie students will learn the tools to rearrange & shorten
video clips, add transitions between scenes, create titles &
rolling movie credits, adjust the audio, add musical soundtracks &
special sound effects.

In this class you will learn how to get started buying and selling on ebay, the world’s largest online auction. As a bidder, you will learn how to register, search for items, research what previous items have sold for, bid on an item, what to do at the close of an auction. You will learn insider bidding tips to help you win your auction. As a seller, you'll learn how to turn your attic or garage sale finds into
cash from the comfort of your home! Learn how to find items to sell, put an item up for sale, tips on item descriptions, electronic payments, shipping solutions and the feedback forum. You will also
learn how to write item descriptions that sells and how to use third party sites to help manage your auctions and bidding.

Refund Policy
Refunds requested prior to the start of a class will be assessed a $10 processing fee. Once a class begins, a cancellation fee of $15 will be assessed and the remaining amount will be issued as a 6 month credit toward another event. In the event of a program cancellation, the fee will be fully refunded.
